I'm here, I'm finally here. Two years in the making and you'd think I'd have lots to show for it, So much for being a "blogger." Nonetheless, I press on. Towards what? The adventure, of course. Back to empty pages, stirring thoughts, yearning fingers, and words woven together, creating meaning.
I am most eager to do life with you; to share in the adventures of daily living. To write (again).
Adventures are defined as, an unusual and exciting, typically hazardous, experience or activity; A bold usually risky undertaking. In fact, God himself created us for adventure. I mean, it's no accident we enjoy movies such as Lord of the Rings, Narnia, and Harry Potter; We want to boldly go where no man has gone before.
God made us to long for adventure -- His adventure. He calls all believers to partake in the rescue mission "to seek and save the lost." (Luke 19:10)
This adventure, this Great Commission (Matthew 28:16-20) I have been given, is one in which I do not want to tread lightly.
So, here's to adventures. Through paper, through experiences, through Christ.
Cheers,
Lauren Folk
